Hmmm... well i am beyond bored right now so i believe that i am going to write a lov-e-ly blog :]
So in honor of Barack Obama's inauguration, I think today I am going to blog about politics. Yaaaaaaay! :] (shocking, i know :o)
First of all, regardless of your opinion of Obama during the election process, he IS the president now and people need to support him. I also think that his speech was ah-may-zing, and I heard he wrote the whole thing himself.
During his campaign, however, I did not like Obama at ALL. Frankly, I still don't. He's under-qualified [holding a Senate office for a grand total of 2 years], and his plans for "change" make no sense. He's going to wave his magic wand and suddenly everything will be ok? No. He plans to create jobs, but with what money? Is he going to print more? We've already bailed out 2 of the major banks, you don't get that kind of money all from the tax payers. You have to print it too. And with all the billions and billions of dollars they've been printing the value of the dollar keeps dropping. We don't have enough gold to back it up. Since democrats are known "big spenders" they are going to tax the already poverty stricken America and print more money to help save the economy. Will it work? Who knows. Lets hope so cause' guess who's in office.
You know what else makes me mad? People who hate Bush and don't even know what the hell their talking about. It is not Bush's fault that the economy is doing so poorly, the economy is a complex system and it can take YEARS of someone messing up before we can see the effects.
When Bill Clinton was in office, he made a law saying that it was illegal to deny a loan to a person of ethnicity. I'm not saying that all the ethnic people who went out and got a loan were too poor to pay it back. I'm saying that some (very small %) of these people went out and got loans where there was no way in hell they were going to pay them back. In fact, many people did this of all races. That's why were doing so badly right now.
Well... thats all I have to say for now. If you don't agree with me thats ok, I can be very wrong about some things.
Peace bloggers :]

Hmm.
1. Well, his basic idea is another bailout plan, but not to help the banks, to get more jobs available in America. He wants to loan money to small businesses along with an economic stimulus package to boost stocks, raise wages, and lower prices of every day goods. And no, he's not going to print more money.. Most stimulus packages are in a credit or superficial form anyways.
(only 3% of America's money is in physical form)
2. The value of the Dollar isn't dropping just because of over printing. World exchange rates are based upon a country's economic stability. Look at England; Their currency exchange rate is nearly 1:2.5 for an American Dollar. Most would say it's because England doesn't print as uch money as America but it's really because our economy is in the shit hole.
3. Democrats have never been known as "big spenders". Democrats are the ones who save money, not spend it. "Big Spending" is like spending 1/3 of America's economy on shit like a useless war, searching for WMD's that dont exist, and spending 700 billion dollars on car companies and banks that send money to their own interest accounts.
4. Bill Clinton took our economy out of 3 trillion dollars of debt. He put jobs back in America and stabilized the economy. Now George Bush, on teh other hand, has spent more money on oil companies and foreign job markets than any other president. Why? Because George Bush owns major stock in oil companies. Because George Bush doesn't know what cheap labor does to your own economy. George bush put our country in 11.4 TRILION dollars in debt. We owe money to China mostly, because most of our jobs are being sent over there. Oh btw, 11.4 trillion is over 1/3 of what America itself is worth. We basically owe 1/3 of America to other countries.
Good blog btw. =)
wow your smart :o lol
hmmm good points :]
